Episode 124: Dr. Caroline Arbuckle MacLeod

Dr. Caroline Arbuckle MacLeod is an Assistant Professor of Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology at St Thomas More College at the University of Saskatchewan, in Canada. She completed her PhD at UCLA, through the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology. Her main research focuses on the history of craftspeople, woodworking, and questions surrounding timber and trees in ancient Egypt. She also investigates the portrayal of archaeology and history in digital games, and how these media can be used to facilitate archaeological discussions with the public and students. She has recently published the short monograph, Archaeological Wood and Woodworking in Cambridge University Press's Elements series.
